TextMesh, which came prepackaged with Unity, used bitmap fonts to display text on the screen. In the early days of the Unity game engine, one method of adding text to your game was to use TextMesh. You’ll now see a subfolder called TextMesh Pro under Assets. Finally, import all the files in the Unity Package into your project.
